Take a look at our ‘What’s On’ Calendar here to discover some fantastic events taking place across the Northern Highlands in April.
British Summer Time starts on 31st March, so the longer nights stretch before us. The birds are singing in the trees, the lambs are skipping in the fields and the road sides are full of daffodils. Hooray!
If you are visiting Dornoch with the family, then get a visitors’ pass for the day to Grannie’s Heilan’ Hame and enjoy the leisure facilities there. Are you looking for something for the children to do over the Easter break? Take a look at Puddle Jumper Holiday club run by Allsorts Dornoch. There are Easter base camps being run in Aldie Burn by Go Wild Highland and a range of activities taking place at the Kyle of Sutherland Hub in Bonar Bridge. Historylinks Museum has loads to do for children and adults alike and is open daily from 10-4.
Our cafes are waiting to tempt you with home baking and speciality teas and coffees – check out the Courthouse Café, Gordon House and Harry Gow – not forgetting to sample the best hot chocolate in the world at Cocoa Mountain.
And why not treat the family to an Easter Afternoon tea at the Dornoch Castle Hotel or dinner at the Royal Golf Hotel?
